Chapter One: Finding a Seat
Rose, Albus, and James waved their final farewell as the train pulled away from the station. They all watched as their parent’s faces were swallowed by the smoke that filled the air as the train pulled farther and farther away. Finally, platform nine-and-three-quarters was no longer visible from the train window. The three children looked at each other anxiously. “Well?” James said, “ Shall we?”
The three friends started down the isle to find a compartment. James was able to find a compartment with ease. “Dan!” he cried happily, “How was your summer?” James disappeared into the compartment with his friend from the previous year, shutting the door behind him. Rose and Albus looked helplessly at each other. “ Guess it was full,” Albus mumbled. “ Yeah,” Rose agreed quietly. After a moment, Rose and Albus continued down the hallway.
Albus opened another compartment door and peeked inside. “ Hello?” an unfamiliar voice asked. “Who’s there?” Albus opened the door a bit wider. Inside the room were three people. Two were boys who looked about their age, and the third was a girl who looked a bit older, perhaps around James’ age. One of the boys looked up. “ Sorry, we only have room for one more.” he said in a surprisingly low voice. “ That’s ok” Albus said shyly, we’ll just…” Rose put her hand gently on Albus’s arm. “It’s ok Al, “ she said so quietly only Albus could hear her. “ You stay here. I’ll find another compartment.” Albus stared at her, confused. “But-“ Albus started. “ Don’t worry about it” Rose said, smiling “ I’ll be fine”. Albus hesitated, looking quickly from Rose to the three new faces. “Ok” he said after a long pause. Rose stepped out and Albus lightly began to close the door. “ See you later?” Albus whispered with a hint of hopefulness. “ Of course,” Rose whispered back. The exchanged one smile before Albus finally closed the door.
Rose continued to walk along until she got to a compartment that sounded unusually quiet. Cautiously, she crept up to it and knocked on the compartment door. She heard a small jump. “Who, what…who is it?” said a small, yet somehow confident voice. “Is there room in this compartment?” Rose asked. There was a pause.“ Uh…I.. sure I guess so,” the voice said somewhat reluctantly. Rose let out a little sigh of relief. She was tired of walking. She opened the compartment door and stepped in. Sitting on the seat alone by the window was a boy with blonde hair and pale skin. The boy looked up to her and his expression immediately changed from slightly one of indifference to that of slight shock. Mirroring his look, Rose simply stood there for a moment or two, starting into the eyes of Scorpius Malfoy.

Chapter 4
Albus got up from the table to go back to the common room and grab his things for potions and charms, his first two classes.
"Potter! Wait up!" a voice called behind him. Albus didn't want to, but he stopped and turned around. The person who had called him was a boy about Albus's height with white blond hair and grey-blue eyes.
"Can I come with you?" Scorpius asked.
"Well, it's better than being alone and annoyed." Albus said.
"What happened?" Scorpius asked.
"Well, first I was sorted into Slytherin," Albus said, "and I would be totally cool with it if everyone else accepted it, but they won't. Today I got a letter from

James, hurry up! Ginny yelled to her slothful son as he tumbled out of the car.
Mum, Im coming! He groaned as he kicked his lengthy legs forward and began to run to his family.
The gentle breeze blew through James Sirius Potters black, messy hair. His turquoise eyes were half shut, and pleading for sleep. The wind blew harder, rustling the clothes that draped his lanky figure, as the sun paved the way down the sidewalk.
Dad! Its not fair, I want to go to Hogwarts today! Lily Luna Potter sniffed, as she brushed her wind-blown, scarlet red hair from her gloomy face

After the epilogue, part 1.
It was all he could do to stop his hands from shaking as he gingerly stepped into the empty compartment on the Hogwarts Express. No matter what his father had said, his brothers words still haunted him, and Albus Severus Potter wanted nothing more than to run back into Ginnys arms and go back home. Make Lily take his place on the train. Shed love that.
But before he could come to a conclusive decision, the compartment door slammed open again and a boy with longish white-blond hair scrambled in, shutting it quickly behind him.
They stood for a moment in near-silence: the newcomer, who was panting visibly, and Albus, who mer

This is my first fanfiction. As you may have guessed, it is a continuation of the epilouge from book 7 in the harry potter series. I've never posted any literature on here before ( well unless you count that poem " The Lone Wolf" that no one remembers that is buried deep in my gallery) so I'm really hoping to get some feed back on this. If you have a compliment then feel free to give it ( preferably with a reason) and if you have some critisism or idea on how to improve thats great too. If you feel the absolute need to diss this story PLEASE give a reason. Thats all I ask. Whatever you do though, PLEASE COMMENT!!! Thanks.
I don't not own harry potter or any of its characters. J.K Rowling does.
Edit: thanks for all the kind words guys, If anyone is intrested, the story DOES continue here:
